On Sunday, 24th July 2016 during our trip to Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon we could also admire The Cotswolds Villages nestled in the Cotswold Hills in south central England. We drove through that picturesque area of natural beauty and so “typically English” small sleepy settlements in the countryside. The weather was nice so we had some photo stops and enjoyed the honey-coloured stone cottages with lovely gardens full of beautiful flowers. We could also admire a huge stone church located nearby, a fine example of twelfth-century Romanesque architecture. It was nice but a very brief tour.
